The past and the present combine in a thoughtful typographic expression of creative intention across the identity of global art institution, Troy House.
Applied across physical signage and stationery, the identity for Troy House upholds their creative intentions; supporting eclectic and progressive artistry from across the world. With this in mind, we developed a bespoke headline typeface to sit front and centre of the brand, the detailing and concept of which similarly convey this global, enlightened perspective.
In line with what you’d expect from a large-scale cultural institution, our sharp sans serif leans on historical approaches to modular letter weights. Across the typeface’s architecture, however, there are breaks in their traditional form; incorporating playful and unexpected moments, such as the plunging ink traps, that champion the contemporary intentions of the institution.
